A Plea for the Backslidden

This is the time of the year where Christians get caught up in things that are unholy to the Lord and not of Him. I speak of many things. I tell you now, leave it! Repent and walk with Christ! Innocent fun is not innocent, the Lord will demand an accounting. From each of us.

I urge my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ to get into God's Word instead, to seek the Lord in prayer and through fasting instead. Just because it looks fun, looks innocent, and feels good - does not mean it is!

Satan has come to deceive the church and to lead astray. The powers of darkness want only to steal your innocence, kill your faith and walk with Christ, and to destroy your spirit and soul in the process.

Take the time this week (which happens to be the Feast of Atonement/Yom Kippur by the way...) to evaluate your life and heart. Ask the Lord to expose your heart, to search your innermost thoughts, and to bring everything to light. And when He does, repent! Repent, receive His merciful forgiveness, and then take new steps to walk with Him daily.

Yes, you can separate yourself from the world and come out of Babylon! It is not impossible, but time is running out very quickly. Separation can only be done through a lifestyle of repentance and seeking the Lord on a personal level daily. Canned prayers won't cut it. Warming a church pew won't cut it. Donating to charities won't cut it. Being a good person won't cut it. Just saying you believe in Jesus and God and are a Christian won't cut it.

We have to believe the Word of God, study the Word of God (read it with genuine intent to know it), and live obedient to the Word of God. Yes, I will mess up because I'm still bound in this sinful flesh. But, I praise God that He is a loving Father who accepts me into His arms every time I run to Him in repentance. I can't stand sinning against Him or anyone else for that matter.

I love the Lord with all my heart and I'm done with living in rebellion against Him. I grew up in a Christian home, daughter of a preacher, granddaughter of a preacher.....so I knew better. Yet, I still chose to rebel through witchcraft/the occult, worldly pleasure, and sexual immorality. I filled my thoughts and heart with selfishness and unrighteous filth that I called entertainment. I still claimed Christ and still loved Him, still was passionate about church and ministry.... Yet, I was only deceiving myself. I was living contrary to God's Word, and justified it just as many many MANY Christians in the church today do.

In 2017, the Lord snapped me out of it, both myself and my husband. My husband was living in sin as well, very similar to me, let him give his testimony for Christ! The Lord revealed to us that though we claimed Him and walked the walk and talked the talk with churchianity....our hearts had been living contrary to Him.

When we surrendered everything to Jesus.... When we came to Him and began our life of repentance and full submission to Him....everything changed. I pray that every one of you who know me personally, have noticed that change. May it convict you to evaluate your own life and your own walk with Christ Jesus.

I have chosen this day whom I serve, I serve Christ Jesus. I seek no honor, no praise, no riches, no rewards....only Christ. I want to nothing more than be obedient to Him, even unto death. I will stand up for His Truth, no matter the cost. If we lose our income, our medical care, the ability to buy or sell because we refuse to have that abomination (cv jab)? So be it. If we lose everything, including those we love, because we refuse to conform to the Beast System (Revelations 13) and refuse to bow down and worship anyone and anything other than Jesus Christ and the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY? So be it.

Have you counted the cost? Are you truly walking by faith and not by sight? Are you truly not of the world? Does your heart, your words, and your life demonstrate Christ? Do you even seek the Lord? In anything!? If the answer is no or I don't know to any of those, or if those nagging doubts arise in your mind....run to the Father now and seek Him. Go and weep at the foot of the cross of Jesus.

He will not turn you away. We are not guaranteed even the next second of our life. Turn to Jesus, put off the sinful self and crucify the desires of the flesh, and carry your cross. Prepare your hearts to serve the Lord whole-heartedly and to suffer the cost of living in this fallen world, this kingdom of darkness, with Christ in your heart. Ask for peace instead of fear, joy instead of terror.

Jesus is indeed returning soon, no matter how cliché you think that is. If you are not found in Him, if He does not know you, you will be swept away with the wicked. Rid your hearts and your homes of all idols, everything you obsess over and worship. Turn to the Living God. Repent! Then, prepare. Prepare your hearts, your minds, your family, your property....for the days ahead.

It is not going to be a joy ride for true followers of Christ. Satan will wage war against us, the battle lines are already starting to be drawn. We will be hunted down, hated, persecuted intensely, and even killed. But, blessed are those who suffer for Christ! We will see the Kingdom of Heaven and the LORD! Stay true to Him, lean upon His strength, endure, and overcome.
